I have just built up a new computer and I have noticed that when MobileSheets sends the Midi command to my Tyros 4 keyboard to set the song's keyboard settings, the sheet music in Mobile Sheets jumps to the end of the music. If the settings have already been set on the Tyros, this does not happen.
It certainly didn't happen on the old computer. For the new computer, I restored the MobileSheets settings and music from a OneDrive backup from the old computer.
Have I missed something somewhere?
Is MobileSheets receiving commands from the Tyros that causing a song with the setlist to be jumped to (meaning some of the songs have MIDI commands with "Load song on receive" toggled on)? Or did you set up MIDI actions under Settings->MIDI Settings->MIDI Actions that are being triggered?

Hi Mike, Sorry to be late replying, but my lovely new and very expensive computer decided to die - for the second time. Sooooo frustrating.
Anyway, I do not have any songs with "Load song on receive". Every song in my list has a Midi command such as:- Patch Select - MSB (0), LSB (35), PC (1) [Send on Load]. This sets the Tyros 4 Registration Memories to the correct settings.
On the new PC I just restored a MobileSheets backup from that day on the old laptop to the new PC. Nothing else was changed. Both devices are running the latest Windows 11. The only obvious difference is that the l
aptop is Intel and the new PC is AMD with a Ryzen 9850 X3D processor. I'm not sure if this is significant or not!
Interestingly, today I had to install an updated Yamaha Midi driver file on the old laptop before it would recognise the Tyros correctly. There is a new version of the Yamaha Midi driver release on a couple of weeks ago. However, that works perfectly well without issues on the old laptop. The new PC already had the new driver installed.
USB-MIDI Driver V3.1.5 for Windows 10/11 (64-bit) V3.1.5 Win 2.8MB 22/5/2026
Many thanks for the ongoing help. You are always so good at finding solutions.
Cheers

I'm sorry to hear about your computer! As far as the problem with MobileSheets jumping to the end of a song, if you go to Settings->MIDI Settings->MIDI Actions, have any MIDI actions been configured?
Thanks,
Mike
Yes, I have Midi In set to Digital Workstation 1
Midi Out set to Digital Workstation 1 and Digital Workstation 1 - the same on both computers, but with different results. Those two Digital Workstation is how the Yamaha Tyros 4 generates its midi devices it seems.
I am back to my old laptop for the moment, but I am sure I had the new pc's Midi settings the same. As I mentioned in the opening post, if I reopen a song that has just been closed, I don't get the jumping to the bottom. That is only on a song that wasn't the last opened.
Cheers

Hi Mike, I have finally been sent a replacement brand new PC, which actually works - but now I am back to the same problem of the score jumping to the end/last page when Mobilesheets sends the midi command to my Tyros 4. BUT I found the solution!
I had both Digital Work Station 1 and 2 set as output devices in Configure MIDI Connections on the old computer. When I de-selected Digital Workstation 2 on the new computer, my problems went away! Hallelujah - but it's still weird!
Cheers
John
I'm guessing that selecting both was causing the keyboard to process duplicate messages. I'm glad to hear that it's fixed if you only select the first.
