I wanted to post this as a heads up to any iPadOS users. I accidentally released version 3.8.10 with split screen mode enabled, so that feature is now available, which also means that the application window can be resized on MacOS. However, there are a few caveats:

• Not every dialog is going to work correctly if the application window is shrunk down too much. I was planning on spending more time on this before the feature was rolled out, so the fixes will come in the next major update.
  
• Content is going to be cut off on some screens if using the 1/3 width split screen mode. Some screens like the fields tab of the song editor will let you scroll to parts of the page that are cut off. Other screens will not support this.
  

The experience will be usable in most cases, but definitely not optimal, especially when using the 1/3 width mode. This will all be improved with the next major update.

Hi -- I just tried split-screen mode (Acrobat and MobileSheets, half and half) on my iPad.  That worked for a while.  But now my Apple Pencil is not working with MobileSheets ... it just moves the material on the screen around, the way a finger would do.  I am in "stylus mode", but the panning tool is locked in the "On" position.  (The Apple Pencil still works on my forScore app, however.) I tried force-closing MobileSheets, and restarting my iPad, but I still have the problem.   I have MS 3.9.41 on a 12.9" iPad Pro, 2nd generation running iPadOS 17.7.11.  It's a first-generation Apple Pencil.  Thanks!  --Tom

If the panning tool is active, then the stylus will just move the page around. Let me ask this - if you tap on another tool like the highlight tool, does anything happen? What if you try to tap that tool using the radial menu?

I am quite embarrassed.  (As you will likely guess, I am a newbie to MS.)  I had been repeatedly pressing on the "Pan" button, in an attempt to to turn it off.  I have now just realized that if I press ANOTHER button (e.g. "Pen" or "Highlighter") then the "Pan" button automatically turns off.  My situation very likely had nothing to do with my splitting the screen.
