Hello,
A couple groups I'm singing with use shared google drive folders to distribute music. As far as I can tell, Mobilesheets can only see MY folders. This i a problem since I can't mass import files I can't see. Is there a way to access and mass import files from folders that are "shared with me?"
I'm trying to do this from a Galaxy S9 Ultra
If you tap Import->Google Drive, then tap the "Shared with Me" folder, it shows you every file and folder that's been shared with you. If you tap the three dots at the top right, you can also switch which drives you are accessing. This also works when selecting a folder with Import->Batch Import.

I am using the trial version. After using Import/Google Drive I cannot see "Shared with me" option. Is this a limitation of the trial version, or a configuration issue?
The Shared with Me folder should always be shown. I'll need to see a screenshot of how it appears after you tap Import->Google Drive. I've never heard of the Shared with Me folder not showing up.

See the attached file:
- Import - view of MobileSheets Trial after selecting Import / Google Drive
I need to import the folder "Chór Przemienienia Pańskiego Żałom", which is visible in Google Drive in the Shared with me view
This appears to be a translation error. The wrong entry is specified for "Shared with Me", so I'm going to need a proper translation for that in Polish. The incorrect translation is "Nie możesz zapisywać do lokalizacji z gwiazdką", so tap on that folder to view "Shared with Me".
Mike
Indeed

"Nie możesz zapisywać do lokalizacji z gwiazdką" means "You cannot save in the starred files location", which automatically stopped me from even looking there. This folder indeed contains the shared files. "Shared with me" in Polish would be "Udostępnione dla mnie", although Google Drive uses the simple "Udostępnione" (Shared) on its icon, but this may be due to the limited space for the text there. Both would work fine - I leave the choice to your developers.
Another question: what happens after import, when somebody makes changes to the files in Google Drive? Would the imported files be updated automatically, new ones added, removed ones removed from the Import, and renamed ones renamed also in the Import, or some re-importing is required?
I'm the sole developer of MobileSheets, so the choice lies with me. The DeepL translation is "Wspólnie ze mną", so I don't know if that is acceptable.
As far as your question, no, if you change the files on Google Drive, it will have no impact on MobileSheets, as the files have already been downloaded and are stored on the tablet (MobileSheets does not require internet connectivity for you to load your library). You can reimport the files and update the existing songs, or long press a song, tap the three dots, then Swap File and select the updated file to update the library. Renaming files requires the use of the "Swap File" option, because if you reimport the renamed files, it will just create a new song.

It doesn't show up for me. I was at rehearsal this week, people were sharing stuff with me through Google Drive - but I couldn't access my Shared Google Drive folder using MobleSheets. Instead of using MobleSheets I used the installed Android application called Drive (made by Google) to see what they shared with me. It was a hassle because, although I could see the music using Google Drive - the screen kept going dark because I wasn't constantly touching the Android tablet.
Anyway, I just don't see any way at all to actually import stuff that's shared with me on Google Drive.
I am connected to Google Drive and have imported music from Google Drive to my Android MobileSheets. I just don't have or just don't see any button, or link, or whatever that actually
accesses the Shared Google Drive folder. Why?
In the past the only way I could import stuff shared with me via the Google shared folder was to first download shared items to my MacBook and then re-upload to my Google Drive. Only then MobleSheets could import.
There's got to be a better way.
You have to tap Import->Google Drive, then tap "Shared with Me", and then you should see every folder that's been shared with you.

Like I said, it doesn't show up for me. Nowhere are the words "Shared with me" appearing.

Shared with me is the last folder in the folder list just before single files are shown, see the screenshot of your Video.
