Hi I have a song on my old MS iPad, can I send this two my newer iPad which I use regularly, if so could a member explain how I can do ithis please. Dupe
Hello Dupe,

I do this using one of two methods:

1) If I only want to send across a few songs ...
Create a setlist of the songs I want to send to my other iPad.
In the list of setlists, press and hold on the setlist. It will get a tick against it when selected.
Menu bar > Share > Export setlist with files (.msf) - in my case I select Dropbox as I have cloud space that both iPads can access.

2) If I want to keep both iPads the same there are many ways. Here are two I use ...
Menu bar > ... > Sync Library > Synchronise with another device
The one sending will need to be the server, the one receiving, the client
or, via a backup ...
Menu bar > ... > Settings > Backup and Restore > Backup Library (on the sending iPad)
Menu bar > ... > Settings > Backup and Restore > Restore Library from Backup (on the receiving iPad)
To add more to what Lester said, you can also just long press a song on the Songs tab, tap each song to share, and tap Share->Export as .msf.

The wonder of MobileSheets and Mike's programming: there is always yet another way to do the same thing! That is great as we don't all think alike and so we can each find the method that is most convenient and logical for us. Thank you, Mike.

Hello Lester, many thanks for your prompt reply and most useful content. In my case I use Drive which I will use here. Your backup tip is also worth remembering, so will keep your suggestions in mind.?

Hi Mike, many thanks for coming to my rescue again, only got the one song to transfer, so selecting drive and following your guide everything went fine. ?
I'm glad to hear that! I'm always happy to help.
