{capo: cannot be edited

Supposed I imported a ChordPro file from a guitarist who has notated it with {capo: and I want to play it without capo.
Changing or removing {capo: in MobileSheets text editor has no effect.
Expected behaviour: it should be possible to edit {capo: settings on the fly.
I guess {capo: is only considered during import.

Transposing ABC files

When I try to transpose an ABC file

1.) in MobileSheets 3.9.39 on Win11
the name text "Offset:" is missing in the transpose dialog, at least in english and German
Starting Key and Offset value are displayed correctly
transposing works as expected

2.) in MobileSheets 3.9.40 (Build 737) on eink
the name text "Offset:" is there
the "Starting key" value is missing
transposing changes the Offset value but doesn't transpose at all

in MobileSheets 3.9.40 (Build 586) on Android neither 1.) nor 2.) are there, transposing ABC works as expected

transposing of ChordPro files with or without embedded ABC works correctly

Problem with abc files in night mode on android

Hi - my android tablet is on version 3.9.40 (build 586)

When I turn on night mode, abc files do not change.
All other files respond properly, including abc inside of a .cho file.

This works properly on the ipad (version 3.9.39)

ChordPro missing lines in "vertical scrolling" mode

On my Boox Tab Ultra C (running MobileSheets 3.9.40) some lines are missing when "Show Next Song" is active, Display Mode is "Vertical Scrolling" and I step through the song page by page.
The missing lines are there when I scroll vertically, when I switch off the "Show Next Song" bar or when I use Display Mode "Single Page".
To help investigating the issue I added line numbers to a long song. On the screen shots line 15 and line 32 are missing:

ChordPro song sheet lost all the bar lines in the song sheet after a Transpose

I created a Chordpro file with bar lines in the chord which works great ie. the bar line inside the chord is displayed properly before the chord:

[|C] this is [|F] a test will show up as followed

|C |F
This is a test

But after I transpose the sheet to another key for example to Key D, all the bar line disappeared from the song sheet and it will show up as followed

D G
This is a test

Can this be corrected.

pages in longer abc

I'm not sure whether this is new or not (most of my abc pieces are short and fit easily on one screen,
When I try to see the rest of a longer score (example below) by tapping (center or right), I get the message
"Failed to open and read text document "
Tapping to the right of that screen show a loading screen if the piece would run to a third page or "end of Piece" if not
Tapping to the left of that screen returns to the display of the beginning of the tune

Metadata mapping

I had noticed before that the abc field S: (source) was mapped into the MS field Type rather than, e.g., Artist.

Today I noticed that the abc field B: (book) is mapped to the MS field Artist!

This creates a problem because Artist gets filled up with entries like
Ferrel, Frank (2020) I'm a Yankee Doodle Dandy, Ferrel Publishing, Bath ME, p.31
or
O'Neill (Music of Ireland: 1850 Melodies) 1903 #1060

Often they cannot be removed directly from the Fields tab, because the entry is too long for MS to display the x

Also, as far as I can tell, each entry must be removed by going to "Select Items", right clicking the entry, clicking Delete, then clicking OK. Not too bad for a ingle instance, but after a hundred...

(side note on mapping, M: (meter) does not map to Signature - should it?)

(other side note. from the abc metadata below, MS added Bayard and Pennsylvania as keywords. Very clever and maybe helpful, but I'm not sure what's going on here)

I'm getting dots from .abc in MobileSheets which do not match the results on Jef's site from the identical .abc.

Any ideas?

Note 1: there had been a problem with the %%staffbreak directive, but Jef fixed that and other tunes that have the %%staffbreak directive render appropriately.

ChordPro lines overlap

It happened every now and then that a chord line of a ChordPro file overlapped with the subtitle line.

Usually closing the song and reopening it fixed the problem, but the behaviour seemed not really to be predictible.
Now I finally managed to find a scenario where I can reliably reproduce the issue. It's not the only scenario and not the only song where that happens, but it's reproducible, so describing that scenario should help to find the cause of the problem.

In this setlist the song "Pigale" shows the issue. The C chord overlaps with the subtitle line, both when I step through the setlist forward or backward.

As soon as I move the song "Tu Vuo Fa L'Americano" before or after "Pigale", so that I come from there when stepping through the setlist, "Pigale" is rendered correctly.
So it clearly seems to depend on where I come from, if the issue occurs or not.
The file extension .msf is not allowed as an attachment type for the forum, so I added .txt to the filename. Please remove that additional extension if you want to import the setlist.

I can reproduce the issue on my Boox Tab Ultra C both with MobileSheets 3.9.38 Build 733 and with 3.9.39 Build 734.
It doesn't happen neither with MobileSheets 3.9.38 on Win11 nor with 3.9.38 Build 582 on Android.

ABC file snippets include the whole original file instead of just selected pages

Hi, I don't know if this is intended behaviour or a bug but when I try to make a snippet from an ABC file it includes the whole file instead of the pages I've set.

The %%leftmargin function is normally used to create indentations in the notation. However, this doesn't work in MuseScore.
I suspect this has to do with the automatic page resizing in MobileSheets.

Are there any alternative options?

chordpro song

all my ChordPro songs load in fine but they are displayed over several pages for me I would like then to be on one long page that I can use the scroll feature when playing he song. Is this possible? but I find it only wants to go to the default 300mm width 300mm height whenever I change this, is this a fault?

When transposing ABC files (without ChorPro integration), unnecessary clef changes and octave jumps occur.
