I'm  Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra and S9 Ultra tablets, and normally turn pages with a BT pedal/keyboard. I'm trying to see if I can replace the extra peripheral by using face gestures, but I find them unreliable.

I've tried just about possible gesture, with different combinations of gesture size, hold time, resolution, minimum framerate, etc. And I still get numerous false positives and false negatives.

Of note:
1. "Tilt face up" often gets confused with "raise eyebrows," so I can't use either of those.

2. Gestures almost universally trigger as the gesture is initiated, and not (as the tooltip describes) when the gesture is made and returned to neutral.

3. "Move mouth left/right" is the hardest gesture to recognize, maybe that's just my own face shape.

4. "Open mouth" is the only really reliable gesture that doesn't false-positive. But in a performance situation, it also the goofiest-looking.

Are there any other potential options for gestures to use?

Also, is there a way to enable combined/daisy-chained gestures for actions? With a human page turner, the player often signals a page turn with an exaggerated head nod - up and then down. I'm wondering if a "head down, then up, then neutral" would be distinct enough to prevent false positives during normal movement, and it's natural/expected enough where a high gesture-size setting isn't distracting to see.

Anyone have other experiences?

I have a quite large directory structure with hundreds of songes for different instruments and different genres. All same songs have identical names.
When importing this structure I get lots of overwrite conflicts, although from technical and informational point of view all these files are different entities. It looks like Mobile Sheets is using the file name as a private key in its internal data base instead of using the directory path or something similar. The recommended solution by Zubersoft  is to rename all files with same name to something like files_trumpet, file_clarinet. But this solution requires a lot of additional work and is in my case not logical and contra productive because the instrument ist already part of the directory structure/file path. 
I and many other users would be very pleased if this problem could be fixed. It causes a lot of headache.

I use a "big" Lenovo Tab P12 (Android 15) and a "small" Meebook P78 (Android 11, e-ink); both with Mobilesheets 3.9.41. I use library sync with wifi direct connection to maintain the songs (PDF), collections, set lists etc on the two devices.

The P78 has no gyro sensor, so I rotate some songs to landscape to get most out of the P78 screen size.

For sync I use the P12 as server and the P78 as client. I uncheck "Sync page scaling and display modes" which sounds exactly what I need (just another example of how well thought Mobilesheet is!)

Unfortunately Mobilesheets doesn't ignore the sync display settings (i.e. individual landscape settings on P78). It always tries to sync. Is that a bug or what am I doing wrong?

The first day I recognised, I had set different formats and back then it worked, but not song lists and setlists display the song title format.

MobileSheets version 3.9.41 has been released for Android, Windows and iOS/MacOS. This update contains mostly bug fixes and the addition of Chinese translations on all platforms. The full list of changes can be found below, as well as the changes for 3.9.39 and 3.9.40:

I've been trying to pin down why I sometimes lose connection in MS to my Bluetooth MIDI controlled effects processor.

I know Bluetooth can be an unrealisable beast, but I have noticed I can induce the problem as follows (it is something I do during my rehearsals).

Using Android 16 on a Galaxy Tab 9+, MS 3.9.40 (586). The do not disturb mode is on (set by MS running) to minimise other tasks potentially interrupting, but I have retested having disabled the Do Not Disturb mode and the problem remains. Not intentionally running anything than the two apps below. No other tasks observed interrupting.

Play a practice playlist on YouTube Music on the tablet.

Start up MS, at the bottom the MIDI device XXX is connected status message appears. Change songs, all good, MIDI messages sent on song load.

Switch to YouTube Music and skip a track. You have to interact to be certain Android has switched tasks.

Return to MS. No alert message, swap song, no MIDI messages sent.

Stop MS with the Android Task Switcher screen.

Reopen MS, MIDI device is connected comes up again and MIDI is re-established.

Interacting with notifications doesn't trigger the problem (e.g. checking the time).

I wouldn't like to say if this is recent behaviour. or it has always done this but losing connection when switching apps is a problem if I am using MixingStation on the same tablet..

I just purchased MSP for Android and I'm trying to figure out how to select a song via an external device via USB MIDI. Searching through the manual, online videos, forum hasn't netted me a solution. I feel like I'm dancing around the answer and just not seeing it.

My setup: The core of my live set is an MPC Live III, which can transmit all kinds MIDI data. I have my Android phone mounted over it with my lyrics/notes, connected to the MPC via USB cable. ľve created a couple test songs, each with its own ID. They are in a setlist.

My need: When I play a new song sequence on the MPC, I want the MPC to send a MIDI command to the phone to select the appropriate song in MSP.

What's working: The phone and MPC are talking to each other via MIDI. I can send CC and other traditional MIDI messages back and forth and they show up in the MPC's MIDI monitor as well as the MSP's "listening" screen.  I have the connections setup as Google via USB. 

My question: What MIDI command(s) do I need to send to MSP for it to select a specific song? Is there additional setup that I'm missing? For example, how would I tell the MPC to select a song whose Song ID is 7?

Quand je fais un concert, par exemple de 2h30, je voudrais savoir en temps réel le temps qu'il reste a jouer, et ne pas trop dépasser, si par exemple un autre musicien passe après moi,
et j'ai une autre question, quand Mobilesheet est ouvert, je ne vois pas d'horloge..y 'a t'il une fonction a activer?

Since the last major release (I think 3.9.29), I have noticed a change in the display of my ChordPro files (*.cho).

It occurs when when a chord is encoded to display after the last word of a line.  For example, my .cho file is encoded as:  

     [E*]Don't you feel it growin', day by day?[  ][A*]


BEFORE the release it was displaying as (which is the way I wanted):

     E*                                      A*
     Don't you feel it growin', day by day?


AFTER the release it is displaying as: 

     E*                                       A*
     Don't you feel it growin', day by day  ?


The workaround I have been using for new songs is to replace '[bb]' w/ 'b[ b]'.  However, hundreds of existing songs in my library are impacted by the change, and it would require a lot of work to go back and fix them all.

Please have a look at this.
