By entering %%writefields wW 0 or %%writefields wW 1 in the ABC file, you can switch the display of song lyrics on or off.
If this can be integrated as a switch in the “ABC settings mask,” singers can simply display the lyrics and instrumentalists can hide them (for better readability of the notes).

I still want to write about a few enhancements I want for the MS ABC GUI but never get to it.
But one suggestion would be to have indeed some "buttons" to toggle things like lyrics, grid or something" and maybe provide an option for a custom button where the user can enter the %%command (like the writefield here) and with the button or toggle box the command is inserted or deleted from the ABC file so it's like an toggle/on/off button for it. So it's highly adaptable for some not so common but still useful use cases I could think of a few.

That would be great.
Using ABC in mobilesheets brings so many benefits - I have become a big fan.

Wow!!! ABCarus is fantastic! Thank you for this!
Since you seem to be very knowledgeable about ABC: Is there a specialist forum for ABC where you can find answers to probably trivial user questions, such as the position of the chords (see image example)?

Ah, sorry, your specific question:
I encountered that problem often in my own ABC fakebook sheets. I'm using a temporary second voice with invisible rests where I can place the chords on.
Your example should work with
"Em7" B4- &x2"Eb7"x2| "Dm7"B2- B1 E&x2"Db7"x2|
if I got it right.

Thank you very much for your excellent help and comprehensive information! That was exactly the solution I was looking for!
