Camera image orientation - Nancy - 06-15-2026
I'm a very new user, just working through how to use MS. I'm using a TCL Nxtpaper 14, which is also brand new -- I bought it specifically to use with MS. I've been experimenting with using the tablet's camera to create images of pieces from my music books.
The orientation of the images seems random. I did a 4-page piece, and two of the pages came out portrait and two came out landscape. I used "next" to go from one image to the next, and didn't change any settings in between (that I know of!). I figured out how to rotate the pages that came out wrong, but it seems I shouldn't have to do that. Any idea why the pages rotate?

I'm using MS on the same tablet and I haven't had that problem when using the tablet camera. I'm not sure why some of yours are coming out in landscape orientation... unless the background behind the music isn't contrasty enough for it to detect the edges of the paper?
