Using spare space on Lenovo tablet - davidb - 07-17-2026

My Lenovo tablet has a narrower screen than an iPad so A4 music leaves a gap at the bottom. Is there any way to use that space e.g. to paste the next line from the following page?

My guess is I would need to somehow edit the original pdf to have extra space at the bottom (not sure how to do that) and then do manual cropping to avoid that being cropped off on import. Is there a better way?

Try switching to the vertical scrolling display mode as described here: https://youtu.be/V_8GXnlNfm0

You can then see the start of the next page at the bottom of the screen.

By cropping empty white space off the top & bottom of my scores and using vertical scrolling I often have an extra line (or two) of the score visible on my tablet.

That works well. Thanks.
