Just in the last week or so I cannot scan song documents on my ipad pro 13 m4 -- it finds and highlights  the document in blue, and says 'Document found, hold steady'  --but it does not then do the scan -- it just spins -- unless I press the round white button, and then the focus may be 'iffy'.  It used to focus in and take the scan automatically when focussed.     Any clues?    

I updated the app -- no change -- and then re-installed the app and restored the library, but no change.  Also I'm up to date at iPadiOS  26.3.1.

I've looked at some scan settings under Accessibility but am uncertain about them!  Thanks all! --Nancy

The icon at the very top right of the camera capture screen indicates whether automatic capture is enabled. It should be brackets with a magnifying glass in the middle. If you just see brackets, tap it, and then the automatic capture should work. If you see brackets with a magnifying glass and it still doesn't capture, let me know.
