I downloaded the zip, ran MobileSheetsCompanion and version 4.1.6 is listed. Please provide information about why you thought any of these were out of date as it all seems fine to me.

I followed suit, but with the flatpak file that I use (I run Fedora Linux on my laptop, a deb file is not relevant for my OS) and it has installed 4.1.6.

When I look at the file data it is different (the Commit and Parent strings) from that on my system yesterday 4.1.5. When was the flatpak last updated from to 4.1.6?

Please note that the update tool within the companion did not work from 4.1.5 and hope it's not broken on future releases.

It was updated on September 8th along with all the other installers. No other changes have been made since then.

MobileSheets cannot update flatpak installations automatically through the app (it just copies the command to the clipboard and tells users to run the command). The .deb and .zip versions should update automatically.
