iCloud Sync??
#16
I'll run some more tests to see if I can find any way to reproduce an issue. I've had no luck so far though - it works reliably for me which makes this more difficult to investigate.

When I try to sync to a dropbox folder the process starts but is extremely slow and thus far has resulted in an error every time. I have made around 20 attempts to sync to drop box and have failed to upload all my files, best I have managed is to around 60% (around 7000 songs).

Attempts to do same with iCloud result and being stuck on the 1st file and 0%

Obviously no database file transferred in either case.

I just plopped down my $15 bucks, after watching some guy on youtube gush over MobileSheets, though he was using MS Windows.
I had used OnSong a long time go when it pay once and done, which OnSong is no longer.
So this was once and done, so I jumped on it.

Anyways, I had this same problem trying to sync.

This  error message was showing up:

15:12:35  - Downloading mobilesheets_hashcodes.txt
15:12:35  - Error encountered transferring files: file:///private/var/mobile/Library/Mobile%20Documents/iCloud~MobileSheets/Documents/mobilesheets_hashcodes.txt

The file: mobilesheets_hashcodes.txt does not exists

Using the finder I dragged and drop an empty mobilesheets_hashcodes.txt into the iCloud/Mobile Sheet directory and now syncing works.

Mobile Sheets iCloud syncing appears to fail if the file does not exists. It seems Mobile Sheets is having an issue creating the file?

That's interesting - that would imply there is a write failure that was occurring. I haven't seen that before, but I will run some extra tests. Thanks for reporting what you found.

My problem is related. I bought MS and installed it on my Mac Air OS 26.1. I loaded perhaps two dozen sheet music score pdfs OK and am learning about viewing/swiping them, OK. I synched to iCloud OK. I downloaded MS onto my iPhone, synced from iCloud folder OK, functions OK. Now I loaded MS onto my iPad Air iOS 15.8.5. It runs but will not synch to the iCloud folder. I've deleted the app and reloaded a few times, even restarted the iPad, but without success. Error message was Unable to find library in selected folder. Could not include iPad screen shots from iPad Files to illustrate the error and the files in iCloud.
