I read in the previous (old) threads that this has been a desire of several contributors but have only found failures to succeed and promises of a future feature of giving different Libraries their own file locations which seems not to have arrived yet.
Like the other contributors, I may trim the songs in the new Library. All have customised on-screen score/chart views so I don't want to lose these by re-inputting from scratch. But essentially the requirement is to copy all the Setlists, Songs and Settings intact.

But my main need is to swap the control of scores/charts from my Behringer FCB1010 which works fine, to a Korg nanoKey Studio in order to perform in very small venues (2 keyboards, 1 screen, 1 pedalboard for Sustain & Expression + nanoKey) whereas larger performances are with 3 keyboards, 2 screens, 2 pedalboards, the FCB1010 pedalbank +nanoKey. So I need to have an alternative set of controls mapped for:

• Next Song - Previous Song
  
• Next Page - Previous Page
  
• Start Scroll - Stop Scroll
  
• Scroll Down/Pageturn - Scroll Up/Pageturn
  

I am currently using MobileSheets commands to change songs in Gig Performer.

I would be grateful for any proposals for a solution, perhaps an established way of doing this. Also for any news on the separate-file-for-each-library feature.

Not supported, but can be done relatively simple (if none of the newer file restrictions on Android hinder it; youe must have the setting "expose the db" on and access to the file with a file manager).

Create a new empty library with a new name.
Quit MS.
Make a copy of your default db.
delete the db of the new db
rename the copy to the file name of the deleted one

Cloning done. Open/switch to it in MS and you can use and edit your cloned db.

I'm trying to get the next update out this week if possible (I'm partway through the final step of porting code to iOS). That update contains the option for keeping files separate for each library.

If you need separate settings per library, you are going to have to use Settings->Backup and Restore->Export Settings and save off a different settings file for each library. Then after switching libraries, you'll have to import the settings for that library. I don't allow different application settings per library (this has been discussed elsewhere on the forum, it will just create headaches for users as you'd have to duplicate all your settings for every library).

I carried out adding the nanoKey pads to control the 8 Actions.
Checking if both the PCB1010 and nanoKey controls coexisted happily I was pleased to find that - voila, yes they do.
So in advance of splitting my mega-library into smaller ones for individual purposes, I'm sorted out as regards my urgent need - to use the nanoKey in place of the (preferable but bulky and a complication for the upcoming small gig) FCB1010! I can simply use the FCB1010 controls for the at-home Rig and the larger-gig Rig, ignoring the nanoKey Pads.
