I'm running version 3.9.19. After pressing "Find and Load Piece" or "Pause setlist for request", the app takes over 2 minutes to respond. Once the search window appears and I type a single letter, the app takes over a minute before narrowing the results and allowing me to type further letters.

My library has around 15,000 PDFs, but there is no lag searching in the library screen, nor when searching after selecting "Show library window" from the popup menu. I'm new to the app, so I don't know whether this was an issue in prior versions.

Is this something that can be fixed?

The issue seems to be with one of Apple's dictionary classes that I'm using being incredibly slow. It scales in a horrible way, so I'm going to have use a different solution. I'll think of a different approach for the next update on iOS.

I can confirm with my change that the dialog now loads in under a second.
