Wanna get new tablets with less (or no)screen glare
#1
I have three Samsung P900 12.2 tablets. They are 10 yrs old.  They are almost fully bricked as Samsung did not update Android past 5.02 and the Google apps will no no longer run on that version.  (Mobilesheets runs fine. Issue is with Play Store and associated services.)
I bought a couple Lenovo 11.5" Tab Plus tablets to replace the p900s but the screen glare gave me immediate eyestrain/headache nausea.  Also the Lenovos have a skinny (16:9?) shape compared to the more page like (sheet music) dimensions of the p900s. The Best Buy guy said all new tablets have the glare problem and I would have to stick an antiglare film on them.  Has anyone done this?  Does it work?  Interested in any feedback on:
1) best tablets for Mobilesheets
2) Least glare
3) experience with anti-glare films

Also - have any of you ever rooted a device (used Odin or something like it to update the Android on an unsupported device?)

The BestBuy guy is wrong.

I recently bought a TCL NxtPaper 14 tablet which not only has an anti glare screen but has three display options - normal, e-paper (colour) and e-ink (mono). You can also adjust the colour temperature of the display and apply a blue light filter. The screen is 14.3 inches and can display 100% of A4.

You can get anti-glare screen protectors, a self-adhesive thin film, so a whole new tablet is probably not necessary, although you say you are tunning Android 5 and I think I remember Mike saying not too long ago that you need to be running Android 7 or later for MobileSheets.
