Crash when "Embed Annotations"
#1
Hello,

I wanted to report a crash that occurs when you click "Embed Annotations." The file becomes unreadable and all the annotations disappear! (I think this happens when you have a lot of annotations.) I'm using a Surface Pro 10.
I've recently lost some important annotations. Could you please look into this issue?

Thank you, kind regards.

That indicates there is a conflict between the third party PDF library that is being used by MobileSheets and the PDF you are trying to update with the embedded annotations. The PDF specification is horribly complex and each app can generate PDFs in a completely different manner. Ensuring compatibility with every PDF (and the editors that created them) is not something I can guarantee if you want to embed annotations. If you recreate the PDF using an application like Adobe Acrobat, I can guarantee you won't encounter crashes while embedding annotations, as I've never seen that with any PDFs I've generated from images.

This is also why I don't write the annotations into the PDF by default - there are just far fewer potential problems if the annotations are rendered by MobileSheets and not stored in the PDF.
