I can't get the "Insert File from Library" feature to work reliably when rearranging pages. Tapping any of the letters on the alphabet list causes the app to crash. The filter fields and the search field don't narrow down the list of files – the full list still appears, although the alphabet list is filtered – but again, clicking on any of the letters crashes the app. I can insert a file if I scroll down the list and select it, but there's no way I can filter or jump to a letter without causing a crash.

I'm not getting any crash reports related to that. Do you have Settings->About->Enable Crash Reports turned on? That option only exists for the Google Play version though, so if you are using the FastSpring store version, then that won't apply.

I'm running iPadOS version 3.9.26; I'm on iPadOS 18.7.1.

Thanks, Mike, for taking steps to address this in 3.9.29. The app no longer crashes, but I'm still not sure the function is working correctly. Here are the steps I take and what I see:

1. Open a PDF
   
2. Tap the Edit icon
   
3. Go to Files tab
   
4. Tap on Page Order box
   
5. Tap the three dots on one of the displayed pages
   
6. Tap Insert File from Library
   
7. The Select File dialog appears, which lists all the pieces in my library, each with a disclosure arrow that shows the associated PDF files – this is as expected
   
8. Tap on the Collection filter to choose a collection and then tap OK – the alphabet list is now filtered according to the pieces in that collection, but the list still shows every piece in my library, not just those in selected collection
   
9. Alternatively, type a search term in the Search box – after a delay (which seems longer than searching in other contexts), the alphabet list is filtered in accordance with the search term, but the list still shows every piece in my library
   

Please could you take another look to fix the filtering and possibly the speed of the searching?

Thanks, Mike, for fixing the filtering issue. However, there seems to be another bug in Rearrange Pages: if a PDF file consists of only one page, none of the insert file options work (Insert File, Insert File from Library, Add File).

EDIT: I was one version behind; updating to v3.9.31 has fixed the Insert File issue. Thanks, Mike!
