This is not a request for MobileSheets, just a hint for users of ABC files.
We can find ABC files in the internet that are whole books, containing many songs. Various forum posts asked for support in MobileSheets, but Mike's answers make me think that, at least for the near future, nothing is planned in this regard.
I want to share a convenient external solution that I found: Michael Eskin's ABC tools provide methods to split a multi-song ABC file into separate files.
Goto https://michaeleskin.com/abctools/abctools.html
Press "Open" to upload your multi-song ABC file
Press "More Tools" in the bottom line of buttons to open a window to select additional tools
Press "Export All Tunes" (bottom middle) to open another selection window
Press "Export all Tunes as ABC" and specify a destination directory, wait a little while
That's all
I had to experiment a bit to find a way to avoid user actions for each and every file. I was successful with Microsoft Edge and the settings
"Before downloading, ask where the individual files should be saved. (Vor dem Download fragen, wo die einzelnen Dateien gespeichert werden sollen)" = OFF
Location = c:\Downloads_ABC (I created that folder before)
I could split "Paul Hardy's Session Tunebook 2025" https://pghardy.net/tunebooks/pgh_session_tunebook.abc succesfully.
"Paul Hardy's Songs Tunebook 2025" https://pghardy.net/tunebooks/pgh_songs_tunebook.abc failed, I couldn't find the reason why by now.
Another useful tool is Michael Eskin's "ABC Tags to CSV Extractor Utilities" https://michaeleskin.com/tools/abc2csv.html
It exports number, title, composer, key and so on from the ABC tags X:,T:,C:,K: to a csv file
I had to convert the Session Tunebook mentioned above to UTF8 to get all special characters correctly
