Editing isn‘t possible
#1
I am unable to edit a song imported from cloud after the update on iPad. The program crashes. I am working primary on Windows and here it is fine.

I am having the same issue trying to edit files that already exist in my library since updating to MobileSheets 3.9.27 (iPadOS 18.7.1).

Tapping on the edit icon crashes the app. I have had success with editing files after restarting my iPad, but then the issue will reoccur when using the app again later. I can sometimes get it to work by editing a different file and then going back to the one I actually want to edit. I was also editing files using "Save and edit next", and this worked for 3 or 4 files and then crashed when trying to advance to the next file.

I can't always reproduce this issue when first opening the app, but if you "Save and edit next" enough times, the crash eventually occurs. I hope this helps Mike to diagnose the issue.

The problem is tied to the audio library. If you open the audio player, tap the settings icon at the top right, uncheck "Use advanced audio player" and also set the tempo in the song to 10 (to disable the metronome), it will avoid the crash. However, I already submitted an update to Apple today to address the audio library issue. It's just awaiting approval, but Apple doesn't generally approve updates over the weekend, so there isn't anything more I can do at the moment unfortunately.

Thanks, Mike, not only for being so quick to resolve issues but also for offering workarounds in the interim. I'm so glad I've switched to MobileSheets!
