Crash in Bluetooth connected iPads 26.0.1 and MSP 3.9.27
#1
Hello,

I’m experiencing a crash on the connected iPad with the following setup:
  • 2 iPad Pro M1 12.9" (both model A2378)
  • iPadOS 26.0.1
  • MobileSheetsPro 3.9.27

They are connected via Bluetooth.

After the “slave” successfully joins the leader, I can usually play one (sometimes two) pieces from a setlist. But when I select a new piece from the setlist, boom, the “slave” crashes.
I haven’t been able to identify a specific sequence of actions that reliably reproduces this behavior.

Everything seems fine when the tablets are connected over Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, I often perform in places without Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth is my preferred way to link the two tablets. So this crash is quite a serious problem if it happens during a concert.

Has anyone else experienced a similar issue?
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any insight.

Consider using your mobile phone as a hotspot - you could then connect using Wifi.

The problem may be related to this https://www.zubersoft.com/mobilesheets/f...l#pid59744 if you have the tempo set to anything other than 10 or if you use audio files in your pieces. The update is awaiting approval from Apple.

Hi Mike, bingo!, it seems that the 3.9.29 update fixed the issue. Many thanks!
