Since the last update Mobile Sheets advances to the next sheet (page turns) or song in the setlist at unexpected times, without screen tap or foot pedal tap, and seemingly at random. How can I stop this annoying page turn? Software is installed on Samsung Android S7 FE.

Without knowing more, the only thing that could trigger that is face gestures if they are enabled and tied to the "Go to Next Page" action. If you go to Settings->Face Gesture Settings, are they enabled at the moment? In the past, there was an issue where tablets with SIM cards could have weird problems like this. Does your tablet have a SIM card by chance?
