Hi all,
I would be happy if it is possible to move annotations to another layer. At the moment I think I have to remove the annotation from the original layer and to draw it again in the new layer.

You can select the annotation, select cut, change layers and then paste that annotation I believe. I do want to add an easier way to move annotations between layers though.

Thanks! I fail to paste the annotation. I am using a tablet.

Can't you just long press the screen where you want the annotations and select paste?

No, unfortunately that does not work. Maybe some settings are not configured well on my tablet. I will check that and will be happy if you find some time to improve that some day :-)

Well I've just managed to cut and paste between layers on my Android tablet
(possibly you are trying to paste on the layers display?)

Open Song
Go into annotation mode
Add some annotations
Select the Layers tool (licorice allsort on top line, just right of the arrow)
The annotations show up under Layer 1
Choose arrow on top line (this should already be selected)
Draw a box over the annotations to select them
Cut the annotations by tapping the scissors on the pop up dialog
In the layers dialog, press the + to create Layer 2
On the song page, position where you want the annotations and long press - select paste
If necessary, use the nudge tool to shuffle the annotations to the desired position

I have just managed it on my iPad. One small thing different from Geoff on his Android tablet is the pasting: press on the page you want paste on and I get two options: paste where I am pressing or paste at its original position, which will be the position it is on the page I copied it from.

What device and OS are you trying to move your annotations on?
