I am new to MobileSheets Pro. I'm getting acclimated to the auto-scrolling features for lead sheets on an iPad. There is one scrolling behavior that I don't like and haven't been able to find a workaround in these forums. Apologies if this has been discussed somewhere else. It's likely that I just haven't found the right option to enable.

While auto-scrolling on a song with continuous scroll enabled, I would like the auto-scroll to stop once the bottom of the file is displayed on screen. Currently, it continues to scroll until the last line of text in the file is the only thing displayed at the top of the screen (the rest of the screen is obviously blank at that point). Is there a way, without a pedal, to stop the auto-scrolling once the last information in the chord pro file is displayed at the bottom of the screen?

MobileSheets should be stopping once the last page of the song has reached the bottom of the screen unless you have changed the "Page alignment" setting under the Display Settings. Can you let me know what page alignment is currently selected?

Apologies for the delay in my response. I thought I had found some workarounds for this issue, but nothing works.

For my chord pro lead sheets, I would like to have a song continuously scroll while I play it. I have a bluetooth pedal with two pedals. One pedal pauses and unpauses the scroll. The other pedal advances to the next song in the setlist.

Here are the issues that I see:
1. In continuous scroll mode, the text should be treated as one page that scrolls from beginning to end. Instead, MobileSheets (even though it is a continuous scroll) still partitions the songs into pages. Based on the zoom of the text, the final "page" may only have one or a few lines of text. MobileSheets will scroll until only this final page is showing. This is extremely annoying from a functional perspective because it should stop scrolling once the last line of text is visible at the bottom of the screen (regardless of zoom level or relative position of said text on its page). Please note: this behavior exists no matter what setting is chosen for Page Alignment.
2. MobileSheets appears to treat an entire setlist as a single document of pages comprised of all the songs in the setlist. So even though in my scroll settings, I have disabled the option to continuously scroll an entire set list from one song to the next, the setlist continues to scroll. I have tried enabling and disabling the setlist option in the scroll settings and nothing changes.

I really need MobileSheets to continuously scroll a single song in a setlist (which I might pause and unpause manually via the pedals) and to stop the scroll for an individual song when that song's last line of text appears at the bottom of the screen (regardless of its relative position on any arbitrarily assigned page). Then the setlist should only advance to the next song when I use the second pedal on my board to advance it. Is there a way to address 1 and 2 above to make MobileSheets function this way? Thank you

Have you tried the "Select Display Mode Dialog"? (tap centre of tablet, 4th icon from left on bottom row)

Set the Song Settings Display mode to Vertical Scrolling
Check Global Settings  | Remove gaps between pages

I've no idea if this will fix everything you want

PS I'm guessing you have tried it because the Page Alignment is in The Global Settings box

I'm using Android but IOS 'should be' the same.
Settings>Library settings> un-check 'Always Load Whole Setlist'.
Then, maybe, Settings>display settings>page alignment.

1) The application is architected around needing pages. So many features rely on a page number for how things are referenced or stored in the database. This is because for the file types the app first supported (images and PDFs), there are a predefined number of pages. ChordPro support as added later on. So I can't just have one continuous page that would be 100x the height of the screen, as I render each page as an individual bitmap to be drawn to the screen. This way it doesn't have to redraw the entire screen every time the scroll position changes, which would use far more energy and drain device batteries faster. Having said that, I have considered supporting an option in the scroll settings for ChordPro files so that it will stop once the last line of text is reached. I'm sure this will probably involve some complex logic to figure out what position the bottom of the screen is relative to the file (which has to take things like zooming into account). However, when you then want to transition to the next song in the setlist, you are going to need to trigger multiple page turns to get there, or execute a "Go to next song" action, because if the page isn't fully scrolled, the first page turn will scroll to the end of the page. So just keep that in mind.

2) That is not how it works. A setlist is comprised of multiple different songs, and while MobileSheets caches bitmaps rendered from the pages of each song, it is not considered one document. I also do stop the scrolling on the last page of a song in a setlist. I have tested this many times and it works as expected.

Please long press your setlist to select it, tap Share->Export setlist (.msf) and share the .msf with mike@zubersoft.com. Also go to Settings->Backup and Restore->Export Settings and send the .mcf file as well. I want to see how you've set things up.
