Chord Highlights in Dark Mode on Mac
#1
I'm using the Chord Highlight feature on my Mac and I use Dark Mode. What happens is when I select the Purple highlight on the far right, the highlight in the document is green, and when I select the Green highlight, it shows up as purple

Colors are inverted in night mode (as otherwise you can end up in situations where dark colors would be on the black background and would be incredibly hard to see). I may add an option at some point to not invert annotation colors for users that don't want that.

Might I suggest that you just check for dark mode and change the colour pallet to match the current selection. So when I select Purple in Light Mode and I have purple Highlights, when I switch to dark mode, it will switch to green in the colour pallet and the sheet, rather than just the sheet. I hope that's clear.
The user would probably change Highlight Colour for dark mode anyway, so your defaults have as good a chance of being a better option as the original choice. Are these colours Apple's defaults for light and dark mode?

I can certainly consider that. Nothing with the color selection is related to any defaults that Apple uses for anything, as it was all developed on Android first and just ported over.

Not a big deal, maybe, but when I use the Monospace font on my text, the Highlight colour box is not quite to the bottom of the font. The bottom line of the E is slipping out, for instance. This is only on the Mac as both my iPads display it fine.
