I am using Text Edit, which comes with 5 different Monospace Fonts and non of them results in getting my Chord Symbols above the correct syllable in MobileSheets.
Is there a font available that can be loaded and make this happen. The chords seem to be landing to the right of the syllables they are above in all 5 Mac Monospace fonts.

I need to know if this is with a text file or a ChordPro file. The positioning logic is very different for each of these. Also, in MobileSheets, you have to tap to bring up the overlay, tap the A at the top right, then Text Display Settings and you can change the font dropdown to "Monospace". You can access even more settings if you tap the "All Settings" option at the bottom left corner of that dialog, or if you tap the A and then "Advanced Settings".

Are ChordPro files something I should be looking into? I am only using text files. Some of the files are saved as RTF, with a. txt extension. I am making sure that the entire file is in a monospaced font Fiv Dollar, That is often Monaco, but sometimes it is Menlo. TextEdit offers a filter for its monospaced fonts and when I select any of them, the chords stay in the same place. I can send a sample to you if you like.

PS I have to mention that I think this is awesome software. I’m going to buy a license for my church because it is always going to be useful for the pianist and possibly also the congregation. Thanks for all your efforts.

MobileSheets does not support RTF files in any capacity. If you have an rtf file with a .txt file extension, it's just going to be treated as raw text. The formatting of a .txt file is all handled within MobileSheets itself - it doesn't matter what settings you change in other applications in regards to that file. That is why you have to change the font to Monospace in MobileSheets as I described. If you go into the advanced settings, as I mentioned, you can also select a custom font to use if you have a different monospace font you'd rather use (select the Default font dropdown, select Custom, tap the magnifying glass and search for the font in the system installed fonts). I still need to add the custom font selection as an option in the simpler text display settings dialog.
