Hey all, I must be having a blonde moment. How do I import an older backup into pro so it just adds the differences and not overwrite the current pro contents?

It is not possible to restore bits from an older backup; it is all or nothing.

What you could do is to create a new library, import your old backup into that and then select the songs you want from the old backup and share them (export as .msf) with yourself, this time importing the shared files into your chosen library.

Edit: In light of Mike's reply, below, my reply was incorrect.

You can tap the three dots at the top right, then Sync Library->Synchronize with a backup file, and set up the merge behavior to only add new songs and groups. That would do what you are asking.
