the trial version has expired...
#1
Hello, my problem is that I purchased the full version (it runs on my Android phone and tablet), and since today my PC (Win 11) is telling me the trial version has expired... Something's not right...

The Android version is completely separate from the Windows version, and each requires a separate purchase (as they are sold through two different app stores managed by two different companies). Did you also purchase the Windows version through the Microsoft Store along with the Android version through Google Play?

I purchased the android and apple versions.  I use my Windows computer to run the companion.  I have the trial and purchased versions on my ipad, which so far run fine together,  so I was surprised the find the trial version on windows has stopped working (expired).  I would like to be able to run the trial version on windows when I am trying out unfamiliar features without concern for damaging my library.

Why did the windows version expire but not the apple version?

The Windows trial has no feature limitations but is time-limited (14 days). The iOS and Android trials are feature-limited (you can only have 8 songs in the library and many features are unavailable) but are not time limited. This just due to how Microsoft handles trials in their framework and store. The Windows trial cannot be restarted once it completes (as otherwise it could be abused to avoid purchasing).

I had suspected that the different behaviors were due to the differing requirements from the stores.  Thanks for confirming Mike.
