I have a database of 4Gb which contains all of my music, band parts, books, etc. It has recently occurred to me that it would be a good idea to separate the repertoire for the two bands that I play for and put them into separate databases. Therefore is it possible to transfer significant parts from the default database to two others without having to re-enter everything ?  I opened up two additional databases but have not been able to fathom out how to achieve this. Can, perhaps, a sorted backup of just the necessary files be produced and then restored to the appropriate band database ? Unfortunately a search through the forum has not revealed anything relevant.

Create temporary setlists and use "Share - Export setlist with files (.msf)"

As itsme has suggested, you basically have to export your songs and/or setlists, then import those in the other libraries, and then delete the songs and/or setlists from the first library. I recognize that this is tedious. I plan to add options in the near future to copy or move songs from one library to another (and setlists I suppose).
