LEKATO foot pedal
#1
Hi everyone, and hope you are all having a very happy Xmas. I have a home made foot pedal for page turning which links via usb to my iPad, this works fine with no issues, however I had a Xmas present, namely a LEKATO foot switch page turner which pairs ok with my IPad but doesn’t work with Mobile Sheets. Maybe it’s not compatible, but does anybody have any ideas on how to get it to work please.

It has an iPad or Android selector switch. Try the other selection.

Hi, thanks for your reply, it doesn’t have any selector switches of that nature, only an on/off switch and a repeat switch. It’s set up and paired with my iPad but that’s as far as we go?

The model is Lekato JSP-01.   Regards Dupe.

Googling "configure Lekato JSP-01" implies that you can configure it

If it is a JSP-01 then it should have a mode button in the middle. That tells it which commands to send, which are effectively keyboard commands, it is pretending to be a bluetooth keyboard. Have you tried flicking through all the different modes, and has the iPad definitely linked to the device.

If you have not messed with MobileSheets key configuration then it should just work. I've used another Lekato page turner and had it working, initially as a swipe but eventually I reconfigured it as a keyboard.

Hi Ian, many thanks for your reply, I went through the mode positions to which there are five, the fourth position works just fine. I’m so glad you took the time to post your helpful reply, as I can now use my iPad without the need to keep plugging in the usb cable. Thank you so much, kind regards Dupe.
