I have a Yamaha PSR-SX900, and what I want to do is pull up different registrations based on a particular song on the Ipad. Mobilesheets on the Ipad can send a SYSEX message, which is what I need. But I want it to happen wirelessly, I'm not sure what adapter I need to buy that will work. Would something like a Wireless Midi Dongle work? Has anyone done this?

There are a couple of options you can use there, or you can use something like a CME WIDI Jack - https://www.cme-pro.com/widi-jack/

I've used the WIDI jack myself with my PSR-SX600 (identical to the SX900 as far as the registration linking and MIDI functionality), and I have no issues connecting my Apple or Android devices with it. The CMD WIDI Bud Pro seems like it would work fine too https://www.cme-pro.com/widi-bud-pro/ and might be simpler to setup. I've also used the CME WIDI Bud with my mioXM and it also worked great.
