I use the automatic vertical scrolling and I would like it if the control to start the scrolling was on the main page with the sheet so I can easily click it with out having to go into the menu and select "Start Scrolling".

You can set a touch action to start/stop scrolling

You have a few options:

1) Go to Settings->Touch & Pedal Settings->Touch Actions and assign the "Start or stop scrolling" action to one of the corners or the top/bottom (as Geoff recommended).
2) Go to Settings->Touch & Pedal Settings->Pedal Actions to assign the "Start or stop scrolling" action to one of your pedal switches if using a bluetooth pedal
3) Tap the bottom right corner while viewing a score to bring up the quick action box and top the bottom icon to start or stop scrolling. Long pressing that icon displays the scroll settings.

I don't have a Bluetooth pedal so I will try the touch action of one of the corners.
