Hi all, I'm new to using Mobilesheets and digital music sheets in general- I just finished scanning all my music sheets and anthologies/books with music sheets (I play classical guitar) and I'm tired...
Question: I have LOTS of books/music anthologies that span multiple genres and multiple composers. For any given composer, say Luys Milan, I have single music sheet PDFs, and works by him spread across perhaps 10 or 11 anthologies. Sometimes I don't know even know what I have. It would be great to click on the "Composer" tab, and see all the pieces of Luys Milan that I have, including those in the books and what page they are on. Is there some way to do this, or something similar?
I understand this software can't "search" inside PDFs. Most of these are scans anyway and thus not searchable text, but I could easily add a text Table of Contents to each anthology- I want to do this anyway and create links from them to send me to the pages. I also understand I could split the anthologies into separate pieces, but that would be exhausting. Anyway, I like my books and want to "reach for and open them" knowing that it contains a certain composer....
TLDR
1) Can Mobilesheets sort by composer or genre of pieces found INSIDE music sheet books (PDF)? If not, is there some kind of solution that does not involve splitting books into pieces?
2) I like my music sheet books- and have even scanned the book cover nicely. Is there some mode in mobilesheets where I can display all my books/anthologies as a grid with pictures (the cover of the book)?
