There is a lot of unused space above the title bar. Is it possible to set the title bar higher by default so that more staves fit on the screen?

I agree. I already set the top margin in the ABC Settings to 0 to make this song fit on a single page, but there's still a lot of empty space above the song title.
btw the term "title bar" in Vibraphon's original post is a bit misleading. I think we're talking about the same.
Have you tried the page alignment options? Go into song edit, select the 4th from the left icon at the bottom of your screen and then the bottom item is page alignment. Setting the alignment to center could be what you prefer.
In my score-writing software I set the top and side margins to zero and yet I still have space that my software (Logic Pro) introduces. I believe that MobileSheets does not add any additional space.
@itsme: I have already set these settings, but there is still a lot of free space remaining. On my Win tablet I can't set a value of "0".
Sorry, translation was made by deepl. In deutsch war es "Titel-Zeile"
@Lester: Changing this option does not leed to better results.
I think this additional distance is part of the original abc-settings, as I get the same result if I export from easyabc to html or pdf.

Vibraphon, here is a black A4 page with no margin. This will show that MobileSheets is not introducing any margin.
What Mike my be able to do is to provide an option for a negative top margin value which would have the effect of raising the top edge of pages to reduce any unwanted margin that other programs have introduced.

You're right. On windows the range of ABC Settings - Top Margin is 1 ... 301, on Android it's 0 ... 300

I'm just displaying what abc2svg provides. The only option I'm currently aware of is the top margin, so if that's set to 0 and there is still space above the title, that's something you would have to discuss with the developer of abc2svg unless I added a new feature to just chop off a certain number of pixels off the top of the image (or I could just run the image through the cropping algorithm that already exists to remove any top margin). I'm not opposed to doing this, but just be aware that this will slow down the rendering of ABC files if I have to run every page of the ABC file through the cropping algorithm to figure out how much white space there is at the top of the image. If I start making assumptions and just automatically cutting off a certain number of pixels on the first page, that could cause problems if the abc2svg library changes at some point. If I have to add a new setting to control how many pixels to remove, that requires changing the database, changing the UI to allow entry of that value, etc, so this is then taking up development time that could be used for other more important things. I should also add that me just removing the margin at the top won't make room for more staves or anything of that sort - it will just make the page shorter which only matters when using the vertical scrolling display mode. If you want this handled properly, it needs to be handled in the abc2svg library itself.
Comparing native .abc with ABC embedded into (_ABC.pro) shows that using ChordPro seems to save a tiny little bit of space. Tweaking it to the very end is pretty tedious.
This isn't an extremely important point for me right now. I'm extremely satisfied with what ABC has made possible in mobilesheets so far. I just thought it was something worth mentioning as a wish. It shouldn't result in much longer loading times.
Thank you very much for all your fantastic work.
