Radial menu can get stuck
#1
Hello all,
First of all, I'd like to thank the developer for all the work put in over the years, and for maintaining this open forum and remaining active on it. Most modern applications are not developed this openly!

To the point; I'm looking for a sheet music reader app for my iPad, and MobileSheets seems to be one of the big names in the field (along with forScore). I installed the free lite version to try it out, and I like it very much, but I've encountered one bizarre issue: the radial menu can get stuck in one state.
I can't reproduce this consistently, but I'll try to describe the issue exactly. The radial menu gets stuck in its current state, whether that's the collapsed state or one of the sub-menus. When it's stuck in a sub-menu, such as the one for setting the size of the tool, the menu remains fully functional, except for switching to another menu or collapsing the radial menu (when it's stuck collapsed, it can't be expanded). It also can't be moved around.
If there's a fix for this, I'm pretty much set on purchasing a copy of MobileSheets, as it seems to do exactly what I need.

P.S. Are there any plans for making use of the Apple Pencil Pro hover functionality and squeeze feature (one nice implementation could be for the squeeze to collapse and expand the radial menu, imitating its functionality in the Apple markup applications)? Also, currently it seems like tapping with the Apple Pencil switches to annotation mode, but it doesn't start annotating immediately and needs to be lifted and put down again. Will this be changed?

I'm going to need to find some way to reproduce that issue somewhat reliably. I haven't seen it before, so I can't go about looking into the problem unless I know how to reproduce it. Are there any specific steps I should take?

I do want to support the hover and squeeze features of the latest Apple Pencil Pro models. I'm going to have to get one of the latest iPad Pro models, as I have an older model and the Apple pencil I have doesn't support hovering or squeezing. I did add code for hovering, so in theory it should be working, but I'll have to wait until I have a newer iPad Pro in order to test why it isn't working.

It's an elusive one… I couldn't reproduce it reliably myself, just start annotating and it could happen. Hopefully if anyone else encounters this they can find this thread.
