Tempo search
#1
1. Is there a way to filter and list songs that have tempo added or songs that does not have a tempo added
2. Is there a way to search for songs that have a tempo > than a specific number

1. Yes, tap the icon with circle in the filter bar and change the "Metronome" dropdown to "Not Configured". That will show you all songs without a tempo
2. Unfortunately, no, you can't really search for anything like that at the moment. That's something I would need to add.

I was not aware that "Metronome" is a valid search field for "Tempo" - good to know
You can select "Tempo" in the search dropdown top left, but alas it searches only for an exact string, no wildcards, no > or <

You can "semi sort" in Mike's companion app (runs on windows)

Set the sort option (right hand side, about 2 inches down) to Grid (Columns)
Make sure the Tempo column is being displayed (Settings/ Configure List Columns if not)

Click on the Tempo column header (possibly twice) to sort it

The column is sorted alphabetically with all the unassigned entries at one end (ideally, one would like the app to sort it numerically)
You can select all the songs you are interested in and put them in a newly created setlist or collection

This might be sufficient to do what you want (assuming you can run Companion)

A follow-up on Geoff's proposal:
You can also do something like that on a tablet: You can add "Tempos" temporarily to the song titles via Settings - Library Settings - Song Title Formatting
That makes "Tempos" visible and allows to use it for sorting also on the tablet. You might try "Sort - Numerically" (I didn't try yet)

Thanks everyone for all the great tips.  What I'm trying to do is to find songs in my library quickly that have a faster tempo that I can use for dancing and also to try and add the tempo to songs that I have missed doing so.  I'm almost there and if TEMPO can be added to the By Field section of the Sort, then it will do it but unfortunately, that field is not in the list as only Custom, Custom 2, Difficulty, Duration, Keywords and Rating are there.

The tempo field can have multiple values, so if I did add a sort option for it, it would probably ignore the second tempos except for cases where the first tempo matches.
