Order of annotations
#1
With my new Surface Book 3 (see also my previous post) I have an issue with making corrections in the score. I would typically use the Highligh tool to hide some part of the score with a white box on top of that. This does work with Text or Stamps, but not with a black line, needed to restore the beams. According to the manual this should work: "Annotations on the bottom of the list will be drawn on top of annotations higher in the list."
In the appended picture the line is the last annotation (Markeren 3) and the big square the first (Markeren 2).

any suggestions?
thanks, Joop

Did you embed annotations? I only see two highlighter annotations listed in the layers window. I don't see a line annotation. Also, if you are using a highlighter, you need to tap the three dots at the top right, then Settings and uncheck "Draw highlights behind content". Then it will work as you desire. However, I would recommend using the rectangle/shape tool to draw those boxes so you don't have to change the highlighter behavior.

That's the way I did it all that years, and it did work fine,... Blush

Thanks for your help, I'll use the Shape tool from now on,
Joop
