I just found a bluetooth page turner that does not conflict with the iPad IOS keyboard.   The Stomp Mini by Coda Music Technology.   I'm not sure if the full size page turner works the same way, but the mini solve th problem I was having.

Any AirTurn pedal that supports AirTurn Direct mode also does not conflict with the virtual keyboard or a hardware keyboard.
