I'm experiencing a problem with the metronome not appearing on my Surface Pro 7. I frequently save tempos on songs for my work and reference them often. When I use the shortcut to start the metronome (tap the bottom left corner of the screen) or open the metronome dialog, I can see that it's running but the visual mode I use (LED) doesn't appear. It's not until I go into the LED options and shift the vertical offset (either direction) and press ok - then it appears right away for that and any other song I check. It also keeps working if I exit MS entirely and open it again.

I'll look into this to see if I can reproduce it and find the source of the problem.
Thanks,

I managed to reproduce this just once, and now I can't reproduce it no matter what I do. Are there any steps I can take to reproduce the issue? I did already add code to help prevent this problem under rare circumstances, so it's possible my code is working, but I don't feel confident about that, as I wasn't able to reproduce the problem initially either before making those changes.

I have a fix in place now for the next update. This problem occurs if you visit other screens in the application (such as the settings screen) before ever loading a song or setlist. Once you adjust the vertical offset, it should stay fixed from that point on. After the next update, it will all work as expected.
