Personal MIDI library
#1
Hello,
Like many other members, I send 2 or 3 MIDI commands at for each song.
For example : load General Purpose preset on my HX Stomp with MIDI PC 20 and CC 69 value 0
Today it must be done for each song, one by one, with no cut/paste capability.
I have noticed that storing MIDI commands is on the top of the list for next releases, that's great, it will save a lot of time !
Thanks in advance.

My question is :
can you implement this with a high level approach in order to ease changes once the MIDI commands are defined for the songs.
Let me explain :
I have defined preset 20 as General Purpose on my HX Stomp, but later I need to change this to preset 10.
It would be nice to be able to create a personal MIDI command named : "Load General Purpose Preset" that can be edited later
and having the change propagated to all songs using the new version of the command (i.E: preset 10) with a single modification.
In other words, the song contains a pointer to the personal MIDI command..

Hope my request is clear, if not, please feel free.
Thanks a lot to take a moment to analyse it.
Yours,
Jerome

Hello there,

Like many happy Mobilesheets Pro users I send 2 or 3 MIDI command each time I choose a song to load the correct preset on my multi-FX device.
No copy/paste is available as of now and I just read that a new feature allowing to save personal MIDI commands is on the top of the list for a future update.
This would be great, thanks.

If I may, i'd like to detail a request on this future feature :
It would be nice to be able to create a personal set of MIDI commands that could be stored in a library and used when editing a song, in order to ease the updates.
Songs will refer to this personal command, which could be edited outside, in a One-Step-For-All manner.

Let me explain :
I define a personal MIDI command named : "Load Fretless Bass Preset" which sends PC 21 to the MIDI receiving device.
I call this personal command from the Song Editor in the MIDI section.
Later, I have to change preset order on my multi-FX, and Fretless preset becomes 35 instead of 21.
If I can update the "Load Fretless Bass Preset" command from an editor, I don't have to go to each song to have the change taken into account.
Hope I am clear, if not, feel free to come back to me.
Thanks for reading
Jerome

Hi, I agree we need MIDI enhancements like this as soon as possible,  Midi implementation in MS is the only thing about it that I find so frustrating.
