It always seems to be a challenge to export a ChordPro file to PDF for sharing with non-Mobile Sheets(MS) people. I took a look through the manual and the forums but couldn't lock in on answers to these issues:
* My Window screen is landscape and the non-MS people are using portrait. I've started using the PAGE SIZE option to try to get the aspect ratio right. Does anyone have a preferred page size setting for exporting that will show up nicely on non-MS apps?
* MS does a great job of using all available screen space for charts. When you export, however, that tends to put the data right at the edges. When the resultant PDF is opened with a non-MS app and brought full screen, edges can tend to get cut off (along with some of the chart). What's the best way to set margins?
* There tends to be a lot of spacing between lines on my exports. Title to beginning of chart is one. Is there an option, either in ChordPro or MS, to minimize the gaps? Many of my charts could fit on two pages but tend to stretch to 4-5 because of the gaps and the breaks I need to put in so that sections of music stay together.
I attached a sample of a recent ChordPro file along with the most recent PDF I created for it. I'm sure I'm not the first to run into these, which is why I'm reaching out to the group at large. BTW, I LOOOOVE Mobile Sheets and get more converts every day. Thanks.
