I have an annoying problem with text annotation and I'm not sure if it's an MSP issue or a Windows 11 issue. On my Surface Pro 8, the first time I try to add a Text annotation after opening a chart, it comes up with a standard keyboard widget. The next time I do a text annotation, it comes up with the handwriting recognition widget. The 3rd time I try to annotate, it's back to the standard keyboard, and so on.
Any idea what could cause this? It's not a major problem but it is annoying because the handwriting recognition doesn't work well, so I end up having to force it to bring up a keyboard. Can the text entry widget be set up to force a specific keyboard to be used?
Thanks!
P.S. I believe I'm on the latest version of MSP, but this problem has been ongoing for a long time so it isn't a recent change.
