I usually annotate scripts for shows on a MacBook as I've found it a lot quicker, particularly with the use of 'Favourites' to quickly recall the settings of frequently used tools. I then use an Ipad once we're in the theatre for rehearsals and shows.
However, I haven't figured out how to transfer all the 'Favourites' I've created on my MacBook to my iPad. Is there a way to do this?

You can do that by going to Settings->Backup and Restore->Export Settings, and then use the "Import Settings" option on the iPad to select the .mcf file that was generated. This will move over all the favorites (and all other application settings).

Hi Mike.
Can you transfer the settings manually by copying the xml files between Windows and/or Android devices? Are there differences?

Yes, the favorites.xml file is in the storage location on Android and iOS (the folder listed under Settings->Storage->Set the MobileSheets Storage Location on Android, or just the MobileSheets folder on iOS). However, on Windows, it's in the application data directory: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Packages\41730Zubersoft.MobileSheets_ys1c8ct2g6ypr\LocalState

Thanks, yes, I have been using those for transferring the db for a long time. Good to know I can do that with the xml files as well (all of them, right?).

Yes, you can do that with the xml files for the favorites and stamps, but you cannot do it with the general application settings files on Android or iOS, as these are not in a location that is accessible.

Brilliant thanks Mike!
