I think more people would migrate to this app if library migration from other apps such as Songbook Pro & on song was supported. Songbook pro supports on song backup file Imports, if mobile Sheets supported both onsong and Song book Pro backup file Imports I'd Migrate my Songbook Pro library and get my whole band to make the switch to mobile sheets and I'm sure others would too!

A few years ago, I spent quite a bit of time and effort trying to get the devs from OnSong and/or ForScore to work with Mike on setlist compatibility. At that time, MobileSheets was Android-only, and those guys were (still are) iOS-only. It would have made perfect sense for them to work with Mike, and I plugged the idea to them as a "low-hanging fruit" way to reach the Android market. They showed no interest. Once Mike released MS for iPad, I completely ditched those other apps, because short-sighted developers are a red flag for me. As far as I'm concerned, OnSong and ForScore deserve to be completely eclipsed by MobileSheets, as it is a far superior product with a much more intelligent developer.

The problem with a migration feature is the same problem as setlist compatibility. The other devs have to be on board with the idea, because all they would have to do is make one formatting change to their file structure, and all of Mike's work would be wasted. If it's not worth their time, it's certainly not worth his.

With that said...I originally used ForScore, went to OnSong, and finally to MobileSheets...and I can tell you that it was completely worth the effort of re-importing all my PDFs and ChordPros. A momentary one-off inconvenience, nothing more. In our church music program, we have over 30 general-use Android tablets, and various BYODs of all stripes--iPad, various flavors of Android, Windows tablets, I even use my MacBook Pro sometimes. We maintain a master archive of all our music files & setlists on a Google Drive, and can load up a new tablet with all 6500+ titles, from scratch, in a matter of minutes. I can mirror my MobileSheets library from my iPad to any other device in even less time. I can send out setlists via email, and anyone can pull them up on any device. There is nothing else like MobileSheets.

What is the internet way of applauding @jlgtx's post? I came from OnSong and can echo much of his experience, just with only 600 songs, not 6500+.
