All settings lost after crash
#1
Hi Mike,

I'm guessing this is more a Windows issue than a Mobilesheets one. I have hibernate mode enabled on my Surface Pro 11 (partly because I can't seem to disable bluetooth on standby mode and it gets inadvertently turned on in my bag). Twice in the last month the computer has crashed when waking from hibernate (I had Mobilesheets open at the time of shut down both times). When I have forced a restart Mobilesheets has reset all of its settings to how it would be on first install. I've not lost any of my library though.

Anyway I'm going to disable hibernate for now, if you don't think that's the issue and it's something else let me know! As always loving the programme, I have had no performance crashing since disabling the GPU for the Annotation Editor (I posted here before regarding that issue) although it does sometimes crash when I'm doing a lot of annotations on a PDF that has a large file size.

All best,

Ben

You could just always remembe to shutdown MS before going to hibernate mode (it has always been a good idea to shutdown programs cleanly).

Obviously, this doesn't explain why the settings were lost.

Hi Geoff, I really thought the whole point of hibernate was to maintain the programs in the state that they were in? Anyway I'm going to stop using it for now. Thanks! Ben
