I'm happy to announce that version 3.9.35 is now available on all platforms, along with version 4.1.8 of the companion application. The main new feature in this update is the ability to automatically synchronize annotations when using the Connect Tablets feature, which is extremely important when using book mode with multiple tablets. There are also a number of enhancements and improvements, and the addition of two new languages (Slovak and Turkish). There is also a native ARM64 version available now for Windows. This will significantly improve performance and stability on devices with ARM64 processors. For FastSpring customers, a separate installer is now available for this, so you will see a notification asking if you want to switch to the ARM64 version if you have an ARM64 version. This will bump the version to 3.9.36 and install the ARM64 version. For Microsoft Store customers, it should all happen automatically with the update. Please note that face gestures are not supported with the ARM64 version due to incompatibilities with Google's mediapipe library. The full list of changes can be found below:

Changes affecting all platforms v3.9.35

• Added support for automatically synchronizing annotations when using the "Connect Tablets" feature
  
• This new capability also supports limiting which annotation layers are synchronized
  
• Switching the device orientation no longer changes the layout on the library screen. The action bar is always now above the tabs
  
• The last used cloud sync folder is now saved independently for each library
  
• Fixed bug that occurs if restoring a backup from a device with multiple libraries on a device with only the default library if a non-default library was active when the backup file was created
  
• Fixed bug with songs not being matched properly in all scenarios when synchronizing devices over WiFi or bluetooth.
  
• Fixed handling of triggered link points when using the half page display mode. Link points can now be triggered when half a page is displayed.
  
• Updated transposing for ABC files so that the octave can be changed based on the number of transpose steps
  
• Updated ABC library to the latest version available
  
• Fixed bug with not being able to update existing songs through a .msf file
  
• Fixed bug when creating a new collection from an existing list of songs where duplicate song entries could show up
  
• Adjusted metronome playback to avoid clicks or pops while starting audio playback
  
• Fixed rendering of backgrounds with pango markup syntax
  
• Fixed bug with ChordPro grids when the shape attribute is used
  
• Fixed bug with auto-sizing ChordPro files. The title, subtitle and meta sizes are now calculated independently.
  
• Fixed issue with ChordPro file layouts when using the vertical scrolling display mode, no gaps between pages with the next up song bar is displayed
  
• Fixed bug with chord line widths not being processed correctly in some situations in text and ChordPro files leading to incorrect wrapping
  

Android v3.9.35

• Added Turkish language support
  
• Improved handling when sharing files. More applications should now show up as a target when sharing a single file.
  
• Fixed handling of OneDrive expiration tokens to ensure the connection works properly during long sessions
  
• Reworked the handling of tapping numbers to reposition entries in groups. A popup is now displayed to avoid virtual keyboard issues.
  
• Added setting to disable MIDI processing entirely
  
• Fixed bug when saving a backup file using the system file browser if an existing backup file is being overwritten
  
• Added new setting to control whether swipes on the library screen are supported when switching between a group tab and a selected group
  
• Fixed bug when importing a CSV file using the "Local File" option where the last backup folder location is used as the starting browse location
  
• The application is now properly restarted if the "Hide Window Decor" setting is changed.
  
• Fixed the select all and select none buttons on the "Combine Files" dialog so that they are not part of the scrollable content
  
• Removed the dividers between the alphabet list letters when using the filter selection dialogs on the library screen
  
• Fixed issue with the advanced camera features not working properly in the trial version
  

Windows v3.9.35

• Added native ARM64 version for users with ARM64 processors. This should provide significantly better performance and stability.
  
• Users with ARM64 processors will lose access to the face gesture functionality due to incompatibilities with Google's library
  
• Added Slovak and Turkish language support
  
• The handwriting view is now disabled when creating text annotations to ensure the virtual keyboard is displayed.
  
• Fixed incorrect handling of file encodings with ABC files that led to empty lines being removed from the file
  
• Fixed bug with annotations edit popup not stopping the automatic exit timer
  
• Fixed bug with the batch import metadata format dialog where it would keep changes even after canceling and duplicate entries in some situations

Just updated. Both my Samsung Tablets (Tab S6 & Tab A 10.5) show the "Loading songs from database" message then close. My Sony Xperia 1iv works fine. After a few attempts on the tablets I get a system message that the app has a bug. Is there a download for the last version as I need to use these Tabs tomorrow morning. Thanks.

Mike, thank you so much for the Slovak addition to Apple's OSes.

There is one little glitch in Display settings > Language.
Slovenščina is Slovenian. Selecting this displays everything in Slovak.
Slovenčina is Slovak. Delete the š from Slovenščina and all will be correct; what a difference one letter makes!

Edited to add: I just checked Android (3.9.33) and it is correct, Slovenčina. Updated to 3.9.35 and now it is incorrect, Slovenščina. Android needs correcting, too. Thank you. I am unable to check any other operating system.

Lester - So it was actually correct before. My translation tools lied to me, and I thought I entered in incorrectly in 3.9.33. I'll get it fixed in a following update.

Hallo Mike,

ich habe eben das Upgrade auf v3.9.35 gemacht. Seitdem funktioniert MIDI bei mir nicht mehr. Ich habe ein Microsoft Surface Pro 11 und ein Yamaha MODX8, das ich über ein MIDI-Interface iConnectivity mioXC verbunden habe. Bisher hat das super funktioniert, aber seit dem Upgrade funktioniert MIDI nicht mehr. Ich nutze MIDI, um die Songs vom Tablett auf dem Keyboard auszuwählen und umgekehrt. Ich brauche dringend eine Lösung, da ich so nicht auf die Bühne kann. Übergangsweise wäre ein Downgrade auf v3.9.34 hilfreich. Das hatte noch funktioniert. 

Gleiches habe ich dir auch per Mail geschickt, weil meine Anmeldung hier zuerst nicht geklappt hat.

Hallo Mike,

vielen Dank für den Verweis auf die beiden Threads. Es hat tatsächlich daran gelegen, dass beim Neustart die IP-Adresse verloren geht. Ich habe auf meinem Tablett nach der Anleitung den Windows MIDI Service auf automatischen Start geändert. Warum das Problem durch den Upgrade von MobileSheets entstanden ist und nicht schon bei dem entsprechenden Windows-Update werde ich sicherlich nie ergründen, aber ich bin sehr happy, dass es wieder funktioniert.

Updated to 3.9.35 Android. So far I have not been able to make the copying of annotations work when in connect tablets mode. Can someone explain how this works?

First of all congratulations for the app, it is really amazing and has super cool features!

I have both iOS (running in MacOS) and the android version. The version in iOS is the one I use as a server when syncing the library. When I try to sync with the Android device running 3.9.35 it does not work. Error message says it expect database version 63 and the server has version 62.

Version 3.9.37 is now available for iOS and MacOS. So you just need to open the Apple App Store and download version 3.9.37. Then that error will go away.

Are you saying that your annotations are not being synchronized when using the "Sync Library" feature? Or are you saying the option to synchronize annotations is not working for you with the "Connect Tablets" feature? One user has indicated that the annotations are not synchronized with "Connect Tablets" when the option to reconnect automatically at startup is used. I still need to investigate this.
