Hi together, I´m going to use MS on my Windows Surface to manage my band´s sheets. We have already set up read-only synchronisation via Google Drive with an iPad and it works basically. But setlists are not synchronized. I can´t find anything about this issue in the manual or online. Is it possible at all, or is it a bug?

Do you have an empty list of setlists on that device by chance? I still need to find a way to reproduce this, as a few users have reported this same issue over the previous months. If you create a setlist on the Windows device, then synchronize again to pull down the changes (which should delete that setlist), does this have any impact on the issue?
Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike, what do you mean with "empty list of setlists on that device"? Which device do you mean?
The synch type is set to "update folder". So all changes on my Windows device are just pushed on the Google drive.

I'm asking if, by any chance, there were 0 setlists on the iPad when you synchronized it to the folder to grab the list of setlists from the Windows device. That was all I was trying to identify.
Thank,
Mike

Ah, now I understand. Yes, the iPad was initially blank. The full sheet library including the setlists was synced over Google Drive.

If you create a single setlist, then synchronize, does that fix the issue? This will help me determine if it's only an issue when there are no setlists.
Thanks,
Mike

Initially, I had already three setlists to sync. Do I have to delete them and then create a new one or should I just add a new one?

Well I would like you to add one setlist to the iPad which is just going to get deleted by the synchronization. Then pull the changes using "Update Device" as the sync type.

This was the right clue, thank you very much! We added a new setlist on the iPad. Then we started the synchronisation with "Updating Device" on the iPad. The new setlist was deleted and the setlists from Google Drive are visible now. We also did a change in this setlist on my Surface, synced it to Google Drive and then on the iPad and the changes became visible, too!

Thank you - that's really helpful information. So I just need to create test scenarios where a device has no setlists.
