highlights always on top

In the latest update (3.9.35) highlights are always on top of the music, no matter what the setting, so the music is now hard to read. Anyone else?

Open the annotations editor, tap the three dots at the top right, then Settings, and check "Draw highlights behind content". I'm not sure why that setting would have been toggled off on your device though.
