Annotation problem
#1
Hi
I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but when I try to add an annotation to a piece of music, as soon as I click the position where I want to put a number the whole thing crashes. I have rebooted my Windows 11 pc several times & obviously re-started MS several times too but the problem persists.

I have MS on another Windows PC as well & that is displaying the same issue.

Could this be associated with eh recent update?

Thanks
Tony

Just to verify - is this only happening with stamp annotations? Can you add other kinds of annotations without issue? Are the stamps custom annotations you added yourself or the built-in ones? I can't reproduce a crash with stamps at the moment, so the more information you can provide, the better.

Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike

No the problem is not with stamps. I add numbered text to indication registration changes on the music. So to be clear, I click the 'text' on the annotation menu bar & select size colour etc. I then click the cursor on the relevant place on the document & then type the number for the registration. The crash happens Immediately I click on the page (anywhere).

I have tested on different songs & did not experience the issue. The only difference I can see is that the copy I was working on when this happened already had the song title annotated on the top. It's never happened before in similar circumstances so I wonder if it some clash between the existing & the new annotations.

Regards
Tony

If you can long press that song on the library screen, tap Share->Export as .msf and share the .msf with mike@zubersoft.com, that would be very helpful.

Thanks,
Mike
