My suggestion is to have a new field called "Video Link" that accepts urls and shows it as clickable links

This would allow to quickly see, e.g. a youtube video for the piece you are studying. There are two options from there on. It can open a browser with the web page or it would be cool to see the video inside an html iframe within the MS interface. This feature makes a lot of sense when you work your library in a Windows/Mac MS version because there is enough space in the screen to show the sheet on one side and the video on another

MobileSheets impresses me as it has stayed focussed on beingn a sheet music storage and management app. I am under the impression that the majority of its users use it in live situations.

The challenge comes when clever ideas such as yours, Ignacio, start to add functionality that moves MobileSheets into an area that gets called bloatware. Maybe Mike could develop MobileSheetsPlusPlusPlus which is an app with all the extras that get suggested while leaving the basic, functional and reliable MobileSheets for the musicians whose need are fulfilled by the app pretty much as it is.

The bottom line for me, as just one of many, many MobileSheets users, is that music is aural and so adding video capabilities is beyond what I would want of a music management app.

Thanks for your feedbak. I agree focus and usability are very important. I develop apps myself and this is crucial for success. I am not saying how this could be implemented, that is another discussion. But I am sure it can be done without bothering users who want the application as it is. It is just an add-on feature, I am not asking to change the purpose of the app at all.

My idea is not far from having audio, just as the app currently has. Video is very powerful for learners of all levels - I know concert pianists that also learn from video performances - and also video platfoms such as YouTube are full of great performances with amazing audio quality. It is also much easier when you need a quick audio for a piece to just search for the link in YT and use it from there. Having the link already stored in MobileSheets would make it so much powerful and practical, removing friction from usual workflows.

A very simple and basic implementation would be to put the field as optional. And allowing the field to be clickable and just open a new window external to the app, so even there is less work to do.

Going further there is the option I mentioned of dividing the display into two parts and using one for the video. 

And everything is optional in my opinion. 

I would love to hear what Mike and the Community says, and what could be the priority in the development pipeline in case it is decided to go forward.

If you just want to watch the video in a browser, you can already accomplish that with a smart button. Just place a new smart button with the action type set to "URL" and enter the URL for the video. It will then load that URL in a browser. I don't currently have video playback support in the app, although I have gotten a few requests for that, so it's something I'll probably add at some point, as long as it doesn't conflict with any of the other core features.

Thank you Mike, I did not know about smart buttons.

I have also found a way which is to put the url in the notes. In the android version, when opening the notes and clicking on the text it shows a contextual menu with a youtube icon that will take you to the video. 

You can see an example below for J.S.Bach's 15 Inventions:
