I am seeking enlightenment on the way music sheets are displayed and how they can be viewed when playing my Genos. With eyesight not what it was, I like to have the sheet as large as possible on my screen but not distorted. I do that by using the zoom pinch gesture to mostly fill the screen, which means for an originally A4 sized pdf, I have a half page or so of it displayed. It’s a touch screen so I can scroll it manually with a swiping gesture. But I would prefer to use auto scrolling or scrolling initiated by touch or pedal, and that does not seem to work on my zoomed sheet. Should it work? (It does on sheets that extend outside the screen but which are big enough to see without zooming.) Or is there a limitation in the program which renders zooming incompatible with eg auto scrolling?

Any advice or experience would be appreciated.

You should be switching to the vertical scrolling display mode if you want to use the automatic scrolling feature with a zoomed in page like that. Which display mode do you currently have active?

Got it. Also found your display modes video of three years ago. Problem solved. Thanks for your (usual, I have to say from looking at the forum) quick reply. Sorry to trouble you when the answer was already out there. I like the fact that MobileSheets is a sophisticated program, but of course with sophistication comes some complexity and I lost my way a bit on this aspect.

You could try doubling up the page order (e.g. for a 3 page score "Edit Song, Files, PageOrder", change "1-3", to "1,1,2,2,3,3"). Then crop each each pair of "pages" in the score individually so that half of the page is displayed in each.

Doing this means that you wouldn't need to zoom each time you open the piece (but could make life more difficult if you are in the habit of sharing scores with someone else who doesn't want the pages doubled up).

You can also use this method for repeat sections - this would allow you to move forward throughout the piece.
